My September Style

My September Style

I started the month of September off with a family wedding. I really loved the dress I wore, it was really comfortable, the perfect color, and it was a garage sale find this summer.

I don’t get dressed up often, so it was fun to have my friend Amanda do my hair and put some make up on for the occasion. Oh yea, and lipstick too.

Snapped a few shots of me “mommin” which is what I am doing 90% of my time.

I knew I loved a good jumper, but I recently found my love of overalls again.

I love the last outfit, I felt weird putting it on, but once I wore it for a few minutes, I was In love. It’s comfortable,

I’m taking a style class on Nov 29 and I cannot wait. Having these last few months of outfits documented will help me answer some of the prep questions and really hone in on what feels best for me.

I also listened to the Lazy Genius podcast about How to Find Your Personal Style and one of the biggest take aways for me was choosing a word or bank of words to describe your style. The first word that comes to mind for me was comfort. I’m embracing that as I move forward with playing with my personal style.
