Monthly Profit Report: April 2020
I love numbers. As a way to track my income from my new business, and also to hold myself accountable to paying attention to where the money is flowing in and where I might need to pay more attention, I am going to do a monthly recap of my income and expenses. I love reading about how other online marketers are making an income, and my goal is to create many streams of income so that I can have more time to spend with my family. I also want to share how I’m doing it with all of you, because I believe it’s possible for anyone.
Here’s the breakdown for the first month of my new business.
Income in April:
Flodesk affiliate link : $38
1:1 client help with email marketing (30 min): $30
Digital marketing summit: 16 seats sold, $47 x 14 = $658, $27 x 2 = $54 Total = $712 2 affiliates, paid out $40 Total profit from first digital marketing summit: $672
Total April income: $740
Expenses this month
Vanessa Ryan-Opt in and branding: $316 Zoom: $160/year Flodesk: $19 Podia: $39/month
Total April Expenses: $534
Profit from business: $206
I am proud of myself. I put myself out there, tried something I had never done and made more than $700 online. I am excited to have my new business officially started in May (like a real LLC and separate books and everything!) and tracking these income vs expenses will be a lot easier.
I have big plans for this business, including several more digital products that will help small business owners like myself simplify their digital marketing to save time and make more money.
