kabobs.
kabobs. with maple garlic sesame marinade. Last Sunday, Dave and I sat down for a delicious dinner, and I thought, "Why don't we do this more often?" So I proposed that he and I try to sit down to a "fancier" dinner on Sunday evenings. It's a great opportunity for me to try out new recipes, and less pressure if it's only once a week.
I recently placed an order for Pampered Chef from Dave's cousin Jenny. I got 3 free spices with my order last month, I had been looking for an excuse to try out the garlic rub. Kabobs are also the perfect opportunity for me to use my Tupperware season and serve to marinade the meat!
On Sunday morning I mixed together the marinade in my quick shake:
3 T soy sauce or Tamari or coconut aminos (gluten free options)
1/2 c sesame oil
1 T garlic rub from pampered chef
2 T syrup
I poured the marinade over 1 lb beef stew meat (from one of my favorite local farms) in my season n serve and let sit all day, flipping one time mid day.
I also prepped the veggies: onion, sweet potato (boiled briefly to soften), zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli. I seasoned the veggies with the pampered chef garlic rub and salt and pepper.
Dave grilled the kabobs on our charcoal grill and I served my delicious kabob with a dollop of mayo (mixed with pampered chef garlic rub and homemade pickled relish).
This was one of the best tasting meals I've had in awhile!
