local gift idea #2: coffee cat.

Giving the gift of coffee is a nice thing to do.   My favorite coffee shop in the area is Coffee Cat, in Mason City. Cat really makes your experience at her coffee shop a pleasant one. She always has a smile on her face, and her calm demeanor relaxes me every time I go in there.  A gift certificate for a coffee drink is a great gift for the people in your lives...or even a travel mug, so they can take their hot drink on the go. Often, these are things people don't buy for themselves, so it's nice to give it to them as a gift. Have a friend who doesn't like coffee? No worries, there's hot chocolate, tea, smoothies, and delicious home baked goodies.  Another great thing about Coffee Cat: she has local artist's featured as the artwork on her walls, and the artwork is for sale too!  A great way to support a local creative. One of my favorite things to do is meet a friend for coffee.  It's one of the ways I fill my bucket. It would be a great gift to give a friend, and encourage them to take a time out for a cup of joe!
