june 8. that's the day.

that's the date we heard when the doctor confirmed our due date.

that's the date we told all of our friends and family when they asked that question, "When are you due?"

that's the date we were anticipating. so eager and scared, but so so excited to do this next step in life together.

that's the date that after march 11, became the dreaded date. the date that i was due.

and now it's here.

but you know what?

it's just another day.

it will come and then go.

just like every other day.
