Garden 2015: ed 3
I have been planning and planning, now its time to just plant already!
This week I am determined to get the bulk of my garden planted.
We have 6 packs of herbs for sale at the nursery, so I will be planting basil, sage, thyme, oregano, chives, and dill from those. This weekend at Fleet Farm I picked up lavender, plain parsley, mojito mint, peppermint, spearmint, cilantro, chamomile, lemon balm, and rosemary.
Holy smokes that's a lot of herbs. I'm probably going overboard, but oh well! All of those herbs cost me about $30. Those are cheap ingredients for delicious seasonings and teas in our future!
I'm planning to get my starter broccoli and tomatoes from our supply of annuals. I'm going to check out Opportunity Village for all of our peppers. I'm just missing seeds for cucumbers, kale, and few other things.
Asparagus and raspberries are also on the list for planting this week.
Big plans, so little time. :)
