Leading up to the Slow Down Retreat

I just got off a call with the women who are joining me for this special weekend where we put ourselves first, for the entire weekend.

We talked about what we were hoping to get out of the weekend and a few words came up: relaxed, refreshed, inspired.

I'm anticipating this weekend to be all of those things, and a lot more. (with a lot of delicious food too!)

But knowing that the full moon is happening in a short 7 days, I know that we will be working with the energy leading up to the full moon (it peaks next Sunday night). This could bring up some uncomfortable feelings and thoughts. It may make it more challenging to get into our more feminine flow that I'm hoping for the weekend, because when we feel discomfort, we usually try to fix it, make it better. This will be our chance to lean into it, and release anything that is no longer serving us. I'm ready.

Hosting this retreat has been a big practice for me. I am practicing more trust and flow in my business and life. I don't want to feel like I have to control everything. Not everything has to be planned. Often the best things that happen in life are unexpected, and happen when we allow, by opening up space and trusting.

So, while it's killing the type A person inside me, I have no set plans for this retreat. There is no agenda. There will be no presentations. There is no expectation to participate in anything.

It is a complete practice in the feminine energy: warmth, flow, sensual, self care, intuitive, compassionate, magnetic, grounded, trusting.

To really sink into this time with these women, I am signing off social media, and my emails for this week. I want to connect more with myself, without the distractions of daily life. I want to be more grounded, so I can show up for these women, in my most authentic way possible.
