There's an awesome little shop in Mason City that sells the best smelling soy candles and handmade soaps and lotions called Soyphisticated.

She (Camille) is probably most known for her delicious smelling candles, but she also makes lotions, shampoo and conditioners, lip gloss, bug spray and more.

She has the best customer service: I once asked her if she had any cuticle cream, and a few days later she had whipped some up, just for me. She also sold me an oil diffuser that stopped working (maybe my fault..), and she replaced it with no questions asked.

I like to go into her little store front on State Street (which she goes out of her way to open if she knows I'm in town and needing something), and stock up on soaps, lotions, and candles to give away as gifts.  Her products are now the only thing in my shower, besides my own homemade body scrub. 

Giving the gift of locally made soaps or candles is a great way to show someone that you love that you care about them (and a great way to support a local business!)
