a simple meditation.

  IMG_4214At the end of my yoga practice the other day, I did a really simple meditation for self esteem and self love.  I loved it so much I had to share.

 

Lying on your back on a mat or the floor, make yourself comfortable. (Or do this when you're falling asleep at night)

Before beginning, set your intention by filling in the blank:  I am ___________.  

Examples:  "I am strong"  "I am enough."  "I am complete." "I am happy."  

Start to focus on your breath.

As you breathe in, say "I am..."  and as you breath out, fill in your word.  

Repeat this breath with words as long as you want. 

If your mind wanders (which it will), just bring it back to the words and breath.
