I Can Confirm I’m Living the Life of my Dreams

I walked into my house the other night and made a decision.

Instead of looking at

The piles of clutter on the table,

The yoga mat still out,

The babies played with,

The wall overflowing with art,

The bins of hats and bags spilled out all over the floor,

as a negative thing.. something I needed to pick up, something I was going to get mad at my family about, something I would let trigger me into a fit,

I looked at these things as PROOF.

Evidence that I’m living a full life.

The yoga mat was from that morning when I took time to take care of myself.

The piles of clutter and walls overflowing with art, evidence that happy, creative, and imaginative kids live in my home.

The more I stop to evaluate and look around me, the more I see this amazing life I’ve created for myself and my family. I have space in my day to take care of myself. I can take a nap when I need to. I don’t have to ask for days off. I get to be here every day when my son gets off the bus. My husband gets to drive him to school everyday.

I feel so connected to my body and it’s needs. I am completely committed to daily movement and meditation. The work I’m doing is literally my dream come true. I’m connecting and in community with amazing women everyday who I meet through networking events and other business owners. I’m having so much fun being guests on podcasts, I get to host workshops about the moon—I mean, how cool is that?!

I’m working on editing my second book, and am making money doing my dream work— hosting on line communities and doing 1:1 coaching.

I get to travel several times in the upcoming months, and they are all trips that will fill my bucket. Spending time in the retreat space is just as much a healing space for me as it is for the women who attend. I’m beyond grateful that I get to host two Slow Down Retreats in the next few months. I also get to spend time with my nieces and sister for a girl’s trip.

Thinking about all of these things, and all the other amazing things I didn’t even mention that are good about my life I can confirm I am currently living the life of my dreams.

This is the life I’ve created, and I’m loving it, and I also want more.

More fun, more play, more happiness, more freedom, more love, more kindness, more community, more connection.
